Home is a film written and directed by Rojin Thomas. The film starring Indrans, Manju Pillai, Srinath Bhasi, Naslen, Deepa Thomas and Kainkari Thankaraj in the lead roles was released on 19 August 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.

Actress Manju Pillai says this is her second entry into home cinema. Manju Pillai says that it was Vijay Babu, who is also the producer of the film, who contacted the film and asked if there is any problem in acting as Indran’s wife.

The actor said that Vijay Babu said that a couple of actresses pulled out of the film when they got to know that Indran is the hero. Manju Pillai was speaking in an interview given to Filmy Beat Malayalam.

‘Home Cinema is my second cinema entry. Vijay Babu called me and told me about this film. Vijayettan is also my family friend. I am called when I start the farm and work on it during drought. Then he called me and asked if I could do something like this.

That was the time when all films were stopped. All films were low. I was very happy to hear that. I said I would do it right away. When I asked if there would be any problem, Vijay Babu told me that there will be no problem, we are making the film taking all precautions.

After saying all that, he asked, ‘Is it okay to be Indran’s wife?’ I said what is wrong. Vijayettan then told me that when a couple of actresses said she had been Indransan’s wife, she said no. I said what’s wrong with me, as long as I look at my character, I don’t care who is opposite me,’ says Manju Pillai.
