US launches legal proceedings against Ukrainian film Apple-Man. The initiator of the proceedings was Apple.

“The tech giant says the film hurts the brand because Apple-Man may appear to users to be affiliated with, endorsed or endorsed by Apple,” Moskalenko said.
At the moment, the film is 70% complete. Apple is demanding that the director waive the legalization of the film in the United States. In this case, the company will have the right to prohibit the use of the phrase Apple-Man in the film title, comics and merchandise at any time.
According to the director of the film, he communicates with Apple through his American lawyer. A conference with representatives of the company is also planned.
“I really want to negotiate with Apple. I really respect this company, their philosophy, their history,” said the director.
In response to the lawsuit, Moskalenko wrote down video message, where he explained that Apple-Man is a movie about apples, not about technology, and does not contain a single mention of the iPhone or MacBook. The director invites the company to verify this by watching the film before the release.

Moskalenko filmed the trailer for Apple-Man at his apartment in 2020. After raising more than 100,000 euros on the Kickstarter fundraising platform, he began filming a feature film.
