HDFC ERGO General Insurance today announced the launch of Optima Secure, a new indemnity health insurance product that seeks to redefine the value customers can get from their insurance plan. Optima Secure incorporates Secure, Plus, Protect and Restore benefits that combine seamlessly to provide customers with up to four times their sum insured at no additional cost while ensuring coverage for listed non-medical expenses, HDFC ERGO said in a statement.
HDFC ERGO stated that the Optima Secure policy offers four distinct functionalities:
Secure benefit: it doubles the insurance coverage instantly and automatically when purchasing the policy. Plus benefit: it automatically increases the basic coverage by 50% after 1 year and to 100% after 2 years, even in the event of a claim. off coverage, the policy will restore your basic coverage up to 100 percent Protection benefit: it guarantees zero deduction on consumables and non-medical expenses listed
The Optima Secure policy also offers customers discounts of up to 50%, if they choose to pay a small amount out of pocket in the event of a claim.
