HC Thurgau lost the first away game of the new season in St. Jakob Arena against EHC Basel 1:2 in front of 1,800 spectators. The winning goal came from Jens Nater, of eastern Switzerland from Herisau. (more)

For HC Thurgau, the trip to the knee of the Rhine ended with a narrow defeat 1: 2. Basel took the lead one second before the first siren through Laurin Liniger. In the 46th minute of the game, the “Leuen” equalized in a power play. Daniel Ljunggren was a hunter. Eleven minutes before the end, Jens Nater from Herisau scored Basel’s winning goal.
