The documentary film «Covid Diaries NYC», has the testimonies of five young filmmakers who tell how the first wave of the pandemic of Covid-19 In New York. It opens on Wednesday March 17 at 10 pm for VTR, Directv and Tuves and midnight for the rest of Chile. for HBO Y HBO GO.
The documentary is directed by Marcial Pilataxi, Aracelie Colón, Camille Dianand, Shane Fleming, Arlet Guallpa Y Rosemary Colón-Martínez, who are in charge of presenting the history of five young people, between 17 and 21 years of age, showing how they face together with their families the different adversities that are presented by the Covid-19 pandemic in each of their contexts.
COVID DIARIES NYC uses first-person recordings of the protagonists: Marcial Pilataxi, Aracelie Colón, Camille Dianand, Shane Fleming and Arlet Guallpa. New York becomes the setting for this narrative, which involves adaptation processes in the midst of the pandemic, resolution of emotional and economic conflicts. In addition, it details crucial and emotional moments where a generation sees the mishaps of various imbalances and social conflicts.
The documentary is produced by Jon Alpert, Jesse Perez Antigua, Sade Falebita, Naomi Mizoguchi and Johnny Ramos; executive produced by Carrie Penner, Perri Peltz and Matthew O’Neill.
