Casting for the series about Harry Potter has officially launched. Child actors who want to play the young wizard and his friends must be between the ages of nine and 11 and live in the UK or Ireland by April 2025. The casting call also includes information that the recruitment is “inclusive and diverse”.

“For each role, we ask that qualified performers be submitted, regardless of ethnicity, gender, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other basis protected by law, unless otherwise specifically stated,” the casting call reads, as quoted by the BBC.
Interested parties should send two videos. One video is a “short poem or story”, but it cannot be a fragment of “Harry Potter”. The second video should be in the form of a presentation, including date of birth, height and place of residence. Candidates should use their own accents.

Harry Potter Series to Have Seven Seasons Daniel Radcliffe on Returning to Set
The series will be written and directed by Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod, who also worked on the acclaimed “Succession”. According to initial assumptions, there will be seven seasons of the series – one for each book. In the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s novel, the three main characters, Harry, Hermione and Ron, are played by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson i Rupert Grint.
