Hayden Christensen portrayed Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader in the second Star Wars trilogy. As he revealed in an interview, the Ahsoka series made a small wish of his come true.
Hayden Christensen returned Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith from 2005 for the two series Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022) and Ahsoka (2023) returns as Anakin Skywalker.
In an interview on February 12, 2024 with the Empire Magazine He said that he was happy about returning to the Star Wars universe and why a fan wish of his had come true with Ahsoka.

“Man, it would be so cool to see some of that in live action.”
“The scenes I did as Anakin in Ahsoka was an item on my wish list that I didn’t even know I had,” the actor explained in the interview.
Because when he was preparing for the role in the Obi-Wan series, he studied the Clone Wars in depth – and he was excited, similar to many other Star Wars fans.
The actor continued: “I remember thinking, ‘Man, it would be so cool to see some of this in live action. That was described to me by George Lucas when we were working on Episode III, the things that happened between Episodes II and III.”
When Hayden Christensen learned from Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau that they actually wanted to cover this in more detail in their series, the actor was immediately on board. In retrospect, he was completely satisfied with the end result.
