Publisher/developer MY.GAMES announced on July 27th that the basic play free online PvPvE shooter “HAWKED]will be held from August 3rd to 17th. The supported platforms are PC (Steam) and the company’s MGLauncher, and anyone can participate for free.
“HAWKED” is a free-to-play online PvPvE shooter that fights in teams of three. As a mercenary and treasure hunter, players land on an island called X-Isle and search for relics and treasures of a lost civilization. The goal is to fight the monsters and enemy teams that inhabit the island, and finally escape from the island with the relics obtained.
Various weapons and ammunition can be acquired while exploring the island, and various equipment other than weapons such as deploying shields that can be covered and having falcons scout. You can customize the equipment according to your play style. In addition, it is also possible to upgrade with the money obtained by selling the obtained treasure.
The island is dotted with ruins and temples, and it is said that the target relics are hidden in such places. To get it, you’ll need to overcome dangerous traps, solve puzzles to open doors, and defeat bosses. Once you have the relics, escape from the island. In addition, relics can be equipped and can activate special abilities. For example, if you lie down, you can transform into a bush to hide yourself, or you can detect the position of nearby enemies. There are currently 21 types of relics, and their abilities can also be upgraded.
This work will be operated on a season basis, and the open beta test that will be carried out this time will be season 0 (Issue # 0). Participants can access Renegade Pass #0, the so-called battle pass, and can acquire limited cosmetic items such as weapon skins and costumes according to their progress. It corresponds to the handover to the product version. However, progress in other games will be reset. A paid Renegade Pass is also available for the product version, but only free ones are available in the open beta test. In addition, it supports Twitch Drops, and you can get special cosmetic items by watching the live play of the official broadcaster during the period.
The HAWKED open beta test will be available on PC (Steam) and MGLauncher from August 3rd to 17th. On Steam, you can participate by requesting access from “HAWKED | Join Open Beta” on the store page.
