Overseas Network, August 10th According to the “Daily Mail” report on August 10, the Hawaiian wildfire in the United States has killed 36 people. Local residents continue to fish out the remains in the sea near Maui, and the death toll is expected to rise.

“There are still bodies floating on the seawall. We’ve been pulling people out and trying to save people’s lives since last night,” a local resident said. Searching for survivors among the rubble, one resident said the town had all but been “off the map”. 271 buildings in the town were destroyed by the fire.

The fire began to ignite on the 8th, and the exact cause of the fire is still unclear. Local officials said that low humidity and a long dry season had dried out trees, and the strong winds brought by Hurricane Dora sparked large-scale wildfires. (Overseas Network/Li Fang)
