Do you remember the Nintendo Wii? Fourteen years ago, Nintendo released the console that propelled them to success after two generations removed from cultural relevance. While the console lost all of its speed in its later years and was gradually abandoned by developers, it’s still an iconic moment from the past few decades. The arrival of the Wii will be one of the most remembered moments in the history of video games. And it is partly because of his legacy that Brian Provinciano decided to take Shakedown: Hawaii to this platform.
That’s right, in a long and somewhat tender post, Brian and Vblank Entertainment explained that they will bring Shakedown: Hawaii to this platform. Hawaii will launch on both the Nintendo Wii and Wii U. Why? The answer is quite simple: Provinciano likes to develop games. For this one, the idea of working with a modern game and transforming it into something for old platforms is very exciting. The fun (and a bit sad) thing is that while Shakedown will be available in Nintendo’s last 13 years, the game has yet to hit Xbox One. What is the explanation for the development?
