The popular drama of the CBS, Hawaii Five-0, managed to show the actress during its season 2 Lauren German as Agent Lori Weston, but surprisingly came out in the same season.

The role of Lauren German was to be destined to have a romantic relationship with Detective Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin), in the next seasons of the show.
The character Lori Weston, only seen in Hawaii Five-0 in the second season, destined to be McGarrett’s love, changed her role and ended up leaving the series in the same season.
The versions that were revealed, it was because many of the fans did not like her character and they did not like to see something between her and McGarrett, that was why her departure did not have as much noise and it came out as if nothing. But, actress Lauren German did give a few words with the decision:
“They had decided to bring me in as the new detective, but I don’t know anything about the strange policies that were developed, but what I am sure, is that there were many women who did not like my character.”

The story they gave the character, was resigning due to problems that involved the governor of Hawaii and the Russian consulate, but not without first expressing his feelings for McGarret, but that he did not pay attention since he did not feel the same.
The funny thing is that the actress managed to increase her popularity in an NBC drama, called Chicago Fire, as Leslie Shay, which sadly only lasted two seasons.
