Sat.1 does not leave German fans for long “Hawaii Five-0” are waiting for the continuation of the series with the tenth season: After the ninth season was shown to the end in November, the new episodes will start on January 28th. The series remains on the broadcast slot on Tuesday at 10:15 p.m., behind “Navy CIS” and “Navy CIS: L.A.”.
With the tenth season, Katrina Law joins ( “Arrow”, “The Oath”) in the role of Quinn Liu as the new lead actress. To do this, it means saying goodbye to a previous protagonist during the season (SPOILER).
Liu is actually a member of the United States Army Criminal Investigation Command, a kind of special police for members of the US Army, the land forces – additional rules apply to and their behavior, and the CID is responsible for punishing violations of these. Liu was demoted after a misconduct. She encounters Five-0 in a case in which former Army soldiers are also involved, and then joins Five-0. She has a deep understanding of soldier life and the subculture of the Army, has a sharp tongue, extensive foreign language skills and a clear mind. Thanks to her temperament, despite all the loyalty, she often clashes with her new boss McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin).
The season opener of “Hawaii Five-0” then also bears the title “Quinn Liu” in Germany. While Tani (Meaghan Rath) and Junior (Beulah Koale) attend a performance at the opera, mafia boss Billy Sato is assassinated – the sniper escapes. During the investigation, Steve and Danny (Scott Caan) quickly realize that the assassin was a well-trained specialist who will not be easy to catch – so they will need help …
