Havlíček wants to put the veils and shields back on the hairdressers

The table available to Právo shows that drapes will continue to be mandatory in all indoor areas and selected publicly accessible places, and the rule of one customer per 15 square meters will be maintained in the establishments.

Children under the age of 15 accompanied by an elderly person will not be included in the 15-person limit. Spacing between customers, including waiting rooms, must be at least two meters.

However, a number of specific rules were added by the ministry led by Deputy Prime Minister Karel Havlíček (for YES). The most controversial of these is that hairdressers, beauticians, pedicurists or employees of massage and tattoo parlors will again have to wear a veil or respirator and a protective shield on top.

Bad experience

If the situation allows, the customer will also have to wear a veil or respirator.

“If it relaxed, we would open it,” Michaela Bytomská, a hairdresser from Prague 2, told Práva. She tested the obligation to wear a shield over a veil in the spring.

“The shield is useless. It is almost invisible because it is fogged, and when it is dyed, it distorts the colors as it reflects light differently. In addition, it is impossible to breathe during staining, because you inhale all the chemistry in this way, “said Bytomská.

At the same time, the government abolished the obligation to wear a protective shield over the veil at work in May after protests by professional organizations. They argued on the one hand for the unproven protective effect of double coverage, but mainly for the health effects for hairdressers and hairdressers.

Markets without a welder

Restaurants, bars, cafes and pubs will also open in the third stage. But it must close no later than ten in the evening, a maximum of four people will be able to sit at one table, and the space can be half at most full.

The Ministry does not recommend holding Christmas markets. However, outdoor markets can take place, but the stalls must be four meters apart. And they will not be able to sell food for consumption on the spot. People will have to get a taste for the welder at the Christmas market.
There will also be no tables and seats in the markets. As Právo has already informed, the sale of carp and Christmas trees is normally allowed.
Hotels and guesthouses will be able to start operating without restrictions, but it is true that guests and staff must have a veil inside.

Shoe stores and clothing stores will also open. However, sellers must place each tested item sideways in quarantine for 24 hours. In stores, the rule of one shopper per 15 square meters should continue to apply, while small children are not included. You can only shop with a cart or basket, except for people with prams.

They will also open exhibition grounds, fairs and zoos. However, they will be allowed to fill only a quarter of the capacity and there can be a maximum of ten people in one group. Also in fitness centers, people will have to be at least two meters apart and exercise groups can have a maximum of ten members.

Traffic will be limited in saunas. Steam saunas will not start, only other saunas may be on offer at a minimum temperature of 75 degrees. Sauna ceremonies will be banned, as will the use of crystal cooling and ice wells. For pools and wellness centers, the maximum occupancy will be one person per 15 meters.
