Having previously struggled, Marvel’s Avengers grants all game content to fans at no cost.

The long-awaited moment has arrived: this morning, Crystal Dynamics released the latest update for Marvel’s Avengers. After his disappointing performance, the game is no longer supported, and as a farewell, he has a special surprise in store for his community.

The update 2.8 unlocks pretty much everything in the store of the game, allowing players to add it to their accounts at no cost. Additionally, the studio has released a special free item for the occasion: a War Machine skin for Iron Man.

According to the update notes, Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that most outfits, emotes, nameplates, and removals are now free. Players will automatically find these items on their hero card.

It should be noted that items obtained through the campaign or purchased from the Cosmetic Vendor can only be unlocked that way, so players will need to progress through the game or purchase them as they always have.

An important aspect is that it will not be necessary to have an internet connection to use the unlocked content. In appreciation, all players who have earned an achievement or trophy before April 1 will also receive the Founder’s Gift – Iron Man’s ‘Variable Threat Response Battle Suit’ for free.

Additionally, the update has converted all player credits into resources that can be used within the game. Version 2.8 also fixes various issues and makes adjustments to maintain the stability of the title for the next few months, until its withdrawal from online stores on September 30.

Crystal Dynamics took advantage of the game’s social media to present Iron Man’s special suit and post a farewell message to players. “To everyone who has enjoyed and will continue to enjoy Marvel’s Avengers, thank you,” the company wrote.
