-The president of the Anti-Corruption System and the rector of the USJT sign a collaboration agreement

Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- With the anti-corruption agreement, signed by the president of the State System for Citizen Participation and the University of Security and Justice of Tamaulipas (USJT), the seed is planted, to ensure that future police officers and public servants in general , conduct themselves within the framework of honesty and transparency in their performance as public servants.

José Antonio Medina Chávez, president of the Tamaulipas Citizen Participation Committee and president of the Anti-Corruption System, said that by linking the education sector and citizens, it will be possible to go together to achieve an efficient state anti-corruption policy.

“When the three of us get together, we will be able to achieve this link and I am sure that the challenge that we will bring in the short term is to have the state anti-corruption policy; I am attentive and aware that it is an interest of the governor ”.

Also in the presence of María Eugenia Zubieta, commissioner of the State Committee for Citizen Participation, it was reported that this agreement formalizes the establishment of workshops and talks for USJT students and active personnel of the Ministry of Public Security, on issues of combating corruption and promotion of transparency.

“I have a fairly efficient concept of the university; These are complex moments for society and participation, but if we look at the indicator of the graduates, we see that they have met their expectations and I believe that more can be generated; we are going to look for the how yes”, reiterated Medina Chávez.

Rector Willy Zúñiga Castillo said that today, young people who are studying to join the public service learn not only the research methodology and the two basic concepts of protecting and serving society, but they are also aware of knowing and to attend to the limits and responsibilities of their legal action, for which reason he stressed that this agreement will allow the construction of greater exchanges of knowledge.

“It is essential that many of the dynamics have to do with the treatment, the management of emotions; always observe the temptations and problems that a police officer may encounter, that is why it is important to warn them and place special emphasis on action”, said the rector.

He stressed that on the one hand, instruction is a very important factor, because they are values ​​that are being planted, so that students or students who graduate go with the goal of being good citizens, good students and go to the front lines of combat the corruption.

It should be noted that the State Anti-Corruption System is made up of 7 actors: the State Superior Auditor, the Government Comptroller’s Office, the president of the State Judiciary, the Specialized Prosecutor in the Fight against Corruption, the Transparency Institute, the president of the Court of Administrative Justice and the Citizen Participation Committee.
