MOGYOROD – Shocking news came from the Formula One racing event (F1), where the Aston Martin Team racer, Sebastian Vettel disqualified from the 2021 Hungarian GP race. With this disqualification, Vettel’s success in finishing as runner-up has now been withdrawn by F1.
It is confirmed that Vettel is no longer the runner-up of the 2021 Hungarian GP F1. His position was replaced by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes AMG Petronas) who in the race at the Hungaroring Circuit, Hungary, finished third.
Then the third place went to Carlos Saint Jr (Scuderia Ferrari) who ended the drama-filled race at the Hungaroring in fourth place. So, every driver who reaches the finish in the Hungarian GP is now up one rank.

So what caused Vettel to be disqualified? According to a report from the F1, it all happened because Vettel’s car did not meet the minimum fuel requirements available in the car after the race.
According to the technical regulations in F1, each car must leave at least one liter of fuel to be sampled. However, the Vettel car in fact only has 0.3 liters of fuel.
Because of that, Vettel was disqualified from the 2021 Hungarian GP F1 race and thwarted his success in finishing as runner-up. Of course it was a real surprise.
Moreover, thanks to this problem, Hamilton has now moved up to second place and the British racer is automatically moving away from Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing). Verstappen is currently second in the 2021 F1 drivers’ standings and is eight points behind Hamilton.
“The Stewards have already heard from the team representatives. After the race, it turned out that it was not possible to sample 1.0 liter of fuel from the 5 car (owned by Vettel). The team was given several opportunities to try to remove the required amount of fuel from the tank, but only they could collect only 0.3 liters of fuel,” the F1 statement said.
“During an audience before the FIA Technical Delegate and the FIA Technical Director, Aston Martin Principals stated that there was 1.44 liters left in the tank, but they couldn’t get it out. This figure has already been calculated. using the FFM or injector models,” continued F1.
“Given this situation, car No. 5 does not meet the requirements of Article 6.6 of the FIA Technical Regulations. According to Article 6.6.2, the driver must ensure that a 1.0 liter fuel sample can be taken from the car at all times. The procedure has been carried out, however sample 1, 0 liters of fuel cannot be taken (from Vettel’s car,” added Steward’s statement.
“The Stewards decided to apply the standard penalty for technical infractions. Drivers are reminded that they have the right to appeal the decision of the Steward, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sport Code and Article 10.1.1 of the FIA’s Rules of Judiciary and Discipline, within the applicable time limit. ,” added the F1 party.
So, for that reason Vettel was disqualified from the 2021 Hungarian F1 GP. The decision added to the unexpected events during the race at the Hungaroring Circuit, where one of the most surprising was the back-to-back collision initiated by Valtteri Bottas.
