In January of this year, Flemish families consumed 5 percent less gas than a year earlier, in February that was already 16 percent less. “Logical”, we hear the critical minds sigh among you, “it was also less cold than last year”. Fortunately, Fluvius also noticed that: the percentages above already take into account the temperature differences between the two years. “These figures show that people really intervene in their daily lives,” says Fluvius spokesperson Björn Verdoodt.
