“The Last of Us” – 6th episode with a mistake
In the sixth episode titled “Family”, when Joel and Ellie cross the bridge, the aerial shot covers the entire landscape of the area and the snow-covered structure. However, the camera showed too much – in the corner of the frame there are people from the film crew who are watching the couple of heroes. Attentive viewers immediately reported the error to the creator of the game and series “The Last of Us”, Neil Druckmann.
As the author of the statement suggested, such mistakes in post-production can be easily removed. Perhaps in the near future an episode will be added to streaming platforms without additional people in the shot. For now, the episode can be watched unchanged.
“The Last of Us” – what is the series about?
The Last of Us takes place 20 years after the fall of civilization due to a deadly fungus. Joel (played by Pedro Pascal) is hired to take 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of the quarantine zone and bring her to an organization looking for a cure. The order seems simple. However, it soon turns out otherwise, and Joel and Ellie will have to learn to rely on each other if they want to survive as they travel through a devastated United States.
Chernobyl director Craig Mazin and The Last of Us creator Neil Druckmann are responsible for the project. The cast also includes Merle Dandridge, Nick Offerman, Nico Parker, Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Storm Reid, Jeffrey Pierce and Murray Bartlett.
The first episode of the series was watched by 4.7 million viewers in the US. Over the last 13 years, only the prequel “Game of Thrones”, “The House of the Dragon”, had a better debut among HBO productions.
