Kiev: Ukraine’s war secrets against Russia are suspected to have been leaked. Information about weapon deployment, military training and war tactics was circulated on social media including Twitter and Telegram. Important documents such as charts of arms distribution, battalion capacity and defense strategies are believed to have been leaked.
US and NATO aid plans and training schedules appeared on social media. The New York Times reported that top secret information was being circulated and that it contained correct information.
At the same time, the spokesperson of the office of the President of Ukraine said that the documents were fabricated as part of Russia’s campaign to spread false information.
Circulars from five weeks ago are on social media. U.S. Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said the matter is being studied. War experts say that Russia is manipulating and disseminating information that is actually leaked. They point to the exaggeration of Ukraine’s losses and the downplaying of Russia’s casualties.
