Have had enough of block towns

The Conservatives, the Liberals and the Green Party have had enough of new districts full of equal blocks and warn of a rematch over the entire development policy. They start at Montebello.

New residential areas, such as Løren, have received a lot of criticism in recent years. Now more parties will look at other solutions.

In November last year, the plans for the old Statnett site on Montebello were sent to the Planning and Building Agency.

After seven years and several rounds of downscaling, the final result for the cream plot was 550 homes in blocks of up to eleven floors, a square, shops and a fitness center.
