BANJARMASINPOST.CO.ID – Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with S Pen support. The S Pen digital pen is a distinctive feature that has only been available on Galaxy Note series smartphones.
Certainty about the Galaxy S21 Ultra that will be supported by the S Pen was first discovered by the Android Authority in the SMG998B smartphone test report at the United States Communications Regulator (FCC).
In the FCC test report, it was explained that the Samsung flagship cellphone supports the S Pen stylus, both in click or hover mode.
These findings provide clarity regarding the statement of the President of Samsung Mobile TM Roh who said the Galaxy S21 will present some of the most preferred features of the Galaxy Note.
Quoted from The Verge, Saturday (26/12/2020), the FCC test report explicitly explains that the device being tested (Galaxy S21 Ultra) can support the S Pen. Either in hover or click mode.
The hover mode itself allows users to use the S Pen stylus without having to touch the device screen. This mode has various functions, from viewing content to taking pictures.
“The device being tested can also be used with a stylus device (S Pen). The device operates with the S Pen in two modes,” the report said.
The report also includes a number of features that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will bring, such as Ultra Wideband (UWB), NFC, wireless charging, reverse charging, and WiFi 6E, as compiled by KompasTekno from AndroidAuthority, Sunday (27/12/2020).
Samsung itself is reportedly going to launch the Galaxy S21 in January 2021. This phone is predicted to be available in three models consisting of the regular, Plus and Ultra models.
For information, Samsung’s plans to bring the Galaxy Note flagship feature to the Galaxy S line of phones have been widely heard since some time ago.
