Session 3 for 2024 of the Rules of Procedure of the “Culture” Fund of the Municipality of Burgas has started.
Cultural organizations, legal entities, creatives practicing free professions in the field of culture from the Municipality of Burgas, according to the VAT Act, can submit their project proposals online, as financial funds will be provided after a competition held in accordance with the rules and conditions of the Rules of Fonda.
Candidates under Direction 1 may be from another populated place, provided that in the implementation of their project they will include artists developing cultural activity on the territory of the Municipality of Burgas and/or the project will be realized in whole or in part on the territory of the municipality.
In Session 3, you can apply in the following areas:
Direction 1 – “New festivals and other cultural events”;
Direction 2 – “Traditional and established festivals, competitions, concerts and other events from the cultural calendar of the Municipality of Burgas”;
Direction 3 – “Supporting the multiplication of projects financed under this Regulation and already presented to the public”;
Direction 5 – “Supporting the shooting of films and TV series of
the territory of the Municipality of Burgas”;
Direction 6 – “Mobility”.
The application period through the Culture Fund’s electronic system is from November 1 to December 15, 2024.

The Municipality of Burgas is ready to announce an extraordinary session for the recruitment of projects to be financed under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan.
This will happen as soon as possible after the National Culture Fund has opened Grant Scheme BG-RRP-11.021 “New generation of local culture policies for large municipalities”.
The public discussion of the conditions for applying under the scheme ended on September 19, but their final version has not yet been announced. After its publication, the municipality will start a procedure to recruit partners for the realization of its project on the PVA.
