Honda’s flagship big MPV has retired from the Indonesian market.
The announcement made by PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) is indeed a series of cessation of Odyssey production in Japan since mid-2021.
This lethal injection was due to the closure of Honda’s factory in Sayama, Japan, which produced the Odyssey, Clarity and Legend.
So the Odyssey production stop is carried out globally, including in the Indonesian market.

“We also announced some time ago that the Odyssey has stopped producing,” said Yusak Billy, HPM’s Business Innovation and Marketing and Sales Director in Jakarta, (16/12/21).
Even so, HPM still displays the MPV that they have been selling since 2005 on their official website.
“Because we are still selling the unit, but there is no additional delivery, so we only sell the stock that is still at the dealer,” explained Billy.
“Until now there are still around 62 units, that includes 35 units that will be sent to our dealer network this month,” he added.
Although it will no longer be sold, HPM still guarantees the availability of Honda Odyssey spare parts in Indonesia.
