People who live in places to the east of the capital of Cuba will not have water service in the next few hours. This will happen specifically from 8 in the morning on Tuesday June 6 until Thursday the 8th of the month itself. The Aguas de la Habana Company reported that maintenance has been underway for some time at the Norte-Habana Water Treatment Plant. This is the reason for the interruption in the supply of water.
The municipalities of the capital that will be affected by the precious liquid during the next three days are Habana del Este and Guanabacoa. The authorities inform that in Habana del Este, the distributions without water service will be Campo Florido, Justiz, Altura de Marbella and Ampliación de Marbella.
Loma de Santa María, Tarará, Bajurayabo, Pepito Tey, Celimar and La Dominica will also be without supply. The districts of Guanabacoa that will have problems with water are La Gallega, Minas, Barrera, Bacuranao and an area of Peñalver.

The state entity apologized for the discomfort caused to the inhabitants of these neighborhoods by the water deficit. It was also reported that when the work is finished, the liquid will be distributed progressively and at its established times.
