The first official photos of the Haval B26 have been released. The large SUV should be officially unveiled in the second half of this year and will become an affordable competitor to the Toyota Land Cruiser. This is reported by the website CarNewsChina.
The new Haval B26 (model name subject to change) will be the brand’s largest SUV. Its length will be about 5 meters. It is expected to be built on the platform of another model of the Great Wall concern – Tank 300 and will be on the frame.
The SUV has a “clumsy” design in the spirit of the Land Rover Defender and Toyota Land Cruiser. It has a high bonnet, roof racks and flared fenders. The huge radiator grille is combined with large round headlights. The car has off-road tires and a protective plastic body kit.
The characteristics of the Haval B26 are still kept secret. According to preliminary data, the SUV will have a choice between two hybrid units with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Powers will be 279 and 326 hp. Both versions will be four-wheel drive and will be able to travel from 50 to 100 km in electric mode.
