“Nothing else to do right now! “. The mayor of Bagneux (Hauts-de-Seine) did not hide his reaction on Twitter at the time of the announcement of his summons to the administrative court of Cergy Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
In May, Marie-Hélène Amiable aedile of the town, had taken a municipal decree against street homelessness. The Hauts-de-Seine prefecture has requested its cancellation.
A decree justified by the health crisis
It is in a press release that the town hall of Bagneux announced that its first magistrate was summoned to the administrative court. But for the town hall, this decree is justified by the health crisis ” [qui] continues to reveal in broad daylight the need for everyone to have decent housing and while this same crisis has greatly reduced the ability of some homes to pay their rent. […] There is no no valid justification to such an appeal against the decree taken by the city of Bagneux. “
Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the city council will have to justify this decree which “will continue to apply” according to the press release.
When contacted, the municipal services did not respond to our requests within our time limits.
