They are already working… but “blank”. The trains of the Parisian metro line 4 drive to and from the two new Hauts-de-Seine stations, Barbara and Bagneux-Lucie Aubrac, which will normally be commissioned on January 13, 2022.
Ensuring the safety of users
Line 4 metro conductors began to make their mark on December 19, 2021.
Fabien, one of the 200 conductors of this line which connects the Clignancourt gate, in the north of Paris, at Bagneux, explains why it is essential to carry out these tests before the new stations are put into service for users:
“We have to familiarize ourselves with the track, the signage and adapt to the speeds. We are also testing new equipment. Everything has to work very, very well. These tests are extremely important to ensure the full safety of travelers. “
RATP estimates that 37,000 travelers will take line 4 every day at Barbara and Bagneux-Lucie Aubrac stations. 12 million more travelers per year will use the metro at the two new stations.
