A truck parked in the yard of the TNT company, specializing in express transport, was stolen during the night of Friday 11 to Saturday 12 December. Located at 230 avenue des Marais in Allonzier-la-Caille, the company was nevertheless secure.
After having stolen the vehicle in the enclosure of the company, the criminals dumped its load in a ditch, along the Petites Usses, in the town of Sallenôves, next to the RD 1508. It was about 25 containers which fortunately, were empty at the time of the package. Thieves quickly got rid of them because this type of material is, in general, chipped.
To evacuate these very heavy large metal boxes, it will be necessary to use a crane. In the meantime, the area has been circumscribed to avoid any incident. An investigation, led by the Meythet gendarmerie brigade, is underway.
