The selection of 3,000 apprentices – including 439 in Occitanie – out of the 7,000 applications across France was made with the participation of Pôle Emploi. The goal of these training courses ranging from bac + 1 to bac +5: to promote the oval ball and train young people in different sectors. The three types of training available (sport, tourism and safety) guarantee everything necessary to manage massive sporting events. “This program also makes it possible to identify the financial and material needs of the various clubs and to act,” argues Claude Atcher.

Immersion in the professional world
“These young people aged 18 to 30 will have the right to solid support,” comments the general manager of the World Cup in France. “They will be assigned two coordinators to follow their progress. Regional gatherings will also be organized. Finally, apprentices will get a foothold in major events with systematic inclusion in the Campus 2023 project, ”he says.
This immersive course responds to the organization of “this planetary event” declares Alain Doucet, vice-president of the French rugby federation and president of the Occitanie regional rugby league.
