New charge from Haut-Savoyard officials against the Rodez club after the disciplinary case was put under investigation for a week by the Disciplinary Committee of the Professional Football League on Monday, June 5. Uncertainty linked to the outcome of the Bordeaux-Rodez meeting, match of the 38th and last day of Ligue 2, stopped on Friday June 2 in the 22nd minute after RAF player Lucas Buades was attacked in the middle of the match by an ultra Girondin.
For the time being, the result of this meeting depends on the decision, expected Monday, June 12, of the Disciplinary Committee of the League. However, according to the decision, Rodez could overtake Annecy in the standings and send the club to National (for the time being, Annecy is 16th with 45 points, Rodez 17th with 43 units).

For the leaders of Annecy, this meeting Bordeaux-Rodez should never have been interrupted. They accuse Lucas Buades and the Ruthenian leaders of having lied that evening, to cause the match to be stopped: “Regarding the progress of the Bordeaux-Rodez match”, writes the club in a vitriolic press release, “in the state According to the information in our possession, we also maintain our position on the attitude of Rodez AF. Annecy goes further, accusing the leaders of false testimonies: “In view of these false testimonies and their consequences in terms of sporting fairness, and in the event that the decisions concerning the result of the match would lead to a relegation of our club, FC Annecy, in National, FC Annecy would then be the victim of the actions of the Bordeaux supporter and the attitude of Rodez AF and will defend their rights accordingly.

“In accordance with sports regulations and common law, we therefore reserve the right, if necessary, to file a complaint with the Public Prosecutor, for criminal acts of sports corruption and fraud that may lead to five years’ imprisonment and a fine of five hundred thousand euros, a sum which may be increased to double the proceeds of the offence.”
The Disciplinary Commission will make its decision on June 12.
