(Haugesund – Tromsø 3-0) Aljonen “Badou” Ndour got a bang in the head in the first half, but played on. During the break, he said he was a little lost. Now the club thinks it’s all about a misunderstanding.

The match between Haugesund and Tromsø was only two and a half minutes old when Tromsø’s Anders Jenssen and Haugesund’s Aljoner Ndour ended up in a tough duel.
It all ended with both taking care of themselves, but Tromsø’s midfielder stood on his feet and called for help when he looked down at Ndour.

The striker eventually got back on his feet and was transported off the field, but not long after he was back on the grass. 30 minutes had passed when just Ndour stabbed a corner from Alexander Stølås in goal.
– He hit my head so I was a little unconscious, I would say, but I’m fine now, Ndour told Discovery + during the break.
– So it was OK to continue? Ask the Discovery + reporter
– Yes it is true. I lost my mind a little, but I’m here now, so it’s very good.
The medical officer in FKH denies that Ndour was missing, or suffered a concussion. The club thinks it’s all about a misunderstanding.
– It was perfectly justifiable to send him out again. I had no kind of uncertainty about it. You can never look into a player, so you have to trust the feedback they give, but there were no signs of a concussion. He got the air out of him and at the same time got a little neck slap, says Ørjan Sørhus in FK Haugesund to VG.
– I understand that this can be misunderstood. But this is simply a small lack of communication when he was interviewed, Sørhus continues.
He assures that they take head injuries very seriously. Therefore, the player was checked both two and three times, as well as during the break.
– He spoke to me right away when I entered the field. He moved steadily off the field, and had no visual disturbances or nausea, neither then nor now. He is in good shape, and will train again tomorrow, he states.
