The victim received a punch in the face by a stranger in an apparent anti-Hispanic bias attack inside the lobby of an apartment building on E. 140th St. near Cypress Ave. in the neighborhood Mott Haven around 5:45 pm on Monday, January 1.

The attacker stormed out of the lobby and has not been caught. Police released a surveillance image of the suspect yesterday in hopes that someone will report him. He NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the case.
