After the rain, there are safety accidents one after another on banners
Streets in front of the National Assembly are also polluted by provocative phrases
There are also complaints of protest over political party banners
Recently, it is easy to see banners put up by political parties on the streets even though it is not an election railway.
This is because the National Assembly has largely loosened regulations on banners for political parties, but when problems ranging from safety accidents to various civil complaints surged, they hurriedly set out to change the law again in just four months of implementation.
Reporter Eom Yoon-ju looked around the scene.

The poles supporting the banners protruded, and the taut string was exposed on the street.
A political party has hung more than 100 banners at once saying that it criticizes the government, but it is a level of fear for those who come and go.
As the situation continues, related accidents such as getting caught in the string of banners and falling streetlights continue.
Content is also an issue.
As each party criticizes each other and writes more and more irritating phrases, it has been a long time since the banner on the street in front of the National Assembly called the Hall of the People has been polluted.
In addition, there are protests such as covering shop signboards with party banners that hang from street trees and traffic light poles whenever there is a gap.
In fact, related complaints have more than doubled compared to before the law was changed.
Despite the district office’s request to refrain, the banner is still easy to find.
Initially, party banners had to be reported like regular banners and could only be hung in designated places, but last year the National Assembly changed the relevant laws and released all related regulations.
The banner of the political party was made so that it could be hung without any place restrictions without reporting, but the only restriction was the enforcement decree that required the party name to be used and installed within 15 days.
This is why governments and local governments, which need to crack down immediately, are pouring in requests to re-create the law.
As streets across the country turned into political party banner contests and various problems arose, the ruling and opposition parties hurriedly started discussing re-amendment just four months after the law went into effect.
However, some argue that crackdowns, not laws, are the problem, and it seems that it will take a considerable amount of time until the actual revision.
It is pointed out that the situation in which they propose to change the law again after four months of implementation is due to the hasty legislation of the ruling and opposition parties who have coordinated their efforts to promote themselves.
Until a countermeasure comes out, the damage of having to endure the banner pollution is ultimately left to the people.
