Hasto Pinned the PDIP Jacket to the Minister of Teten: He is also a Cadre

Jakarta

Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop) Teten Masduki attended the cultural movement event that was held PDIP in Lebak, Banten, today. In the middle of the event, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto put Teten on a party jacket as a sign of cadres.

The pinning of the party jacket to Teten was carried out after Hasto delivered his remarks at the Lebak square, Banten, Sunday (19/2/2023). After giving his speech, Hasto then asked Teten Masduki to accompany him on stage.

Hasto then pinned the PDIP red jacket issued by RedMe to Teten. He called Teten a PDIP cadre.

“We give a round of applause to Mr. Teten Masduki, he is also a PDI Perjuangan cadre. And by Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri when Mr. President Jokowi discussed the composition of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, according to his leadership and track record, Mr. Teten Masduki was trusted as Minister of Cooperatives,” Hasto said.

“Before I end, I present the jacket of the Minister of Cooperatives for his commitment to the underprivileged according to the ideology of the PDI Perjuangan. Mr. Teten Masduki begs to accept it. This is a symbol of the underprivileged,” Hasto continued.

Hasto also invited Teten to speak before the PDIP cadres regarding Teten’s efforts to side with the underprivileged and free Marhaen through the cooperative.

Teten then conveyed his program regarding the people’s economic ecosystem when assisting President Jokowi. According to him, there are three things that he has implemented broadly in government.

“Pak Jokowi has determined that 30 percent of bank loans must be for MSMEs. Today it is already 20 percent,” said Teten

Apart from that, Teten has also made efforts to ease doing business. He emphasized that the people’s efforts would no longer be complicated.

Third, 40 percent of government spending or around Rp. 400 trillion from the state budget is currently required to buy MSME and cooperative products.

“This will strengthen the people’s economy,” he continued.
