Hashim calls his lobster policy wrong, this is Susi Pudjiastuti’s response

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti react in response Hashim Djojohadikusumo who stated that his policy during his tenure as Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries regarding lobsters was wrong.

According to Hashim, many fishermen were disadvantaged and their businesses stagnated due to Susi’s policies.

Through her personal Twitter account, Susi wrote a few words accompanied emoticon which showed an expression of surprise.

Susi also asked Prabowo Subianto’s younger brother for evidence who said that in his time fishermen were arrested for cultivating lobsters.

In addition, Susi also commented on the statement of advocate Hashim Djojohadikusumo, Hotman Paris Hutapea regarding lobster seed export license.

Susi asked about the statement made by the famous lawyer who said that Hashim’s company and his son, PT Bima Sakti Mutiara, did not get permission. export of lobster seeds from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) after taking part in processing the permit last May.

“Yang Mane Bang ?????? “joked Susi.

It was reported, Hotman Paris Hutapea explained that PT Bima Sakti Mutiara had never exported lobster seeds when the export permit was re-opened.

Hotman put forward this reason because PT Bima Sakti Mutiara was touted as one of the lobster seed exporters, even though until now the company had not exported the fry at all.

At least, there are still four documents obtained by PT Bima Sakti Mutiara, which was previously engaged in pearl cultivation.

The four documents include Certificate of Having Conducted Lobster Breeding for Exporters, Certificate of Fish Quarantine Installation, Certificate of Good Breeding Practices, and Letter of Determination of the Release Time for lobster seeds.

The incomplete document makes PT Bima Sakti Mutiara not yet having an export license.

“The fact is that to this day, PT Bima Sakti Mutiara has not, or is still waiting for, the completion of an export permit. Still waiting,” said Hotman in Jakarta, Friday (4/12/2020).
