– It was scary, TIX answered his first question when he met the press after the stage rehearsals.
– It is such a big stage and we had no warm-up before the rehearsals.
The stage show has received some updates since the MGP final in February.
The original gold costume for TIX has been replaced with lighter and more exclusive materials. The costume has thousands of Swarovski stones, all of which are glued by hand. The coat in fake fur is designed to give more fullness and size to the stage.
– TIX’s authentic look has been taken to a more glamorous level. Eurovision-worthy, says NRK’s costume designer Susanne Hoftun.

TIX has five dancers and choristers on stage: Eivind Dundas, Bjørnar Reime, John Masaki, Reno Andersen and Johannes W. Farstad.
Usually, all the vocals on the Eurovision stage will be performed live. This year, all countries can choose whether to use choristers on stage or pre-recorded choruses.
Following the stage rehearsals, Norway was stable at odds Eurovisionworld.com. Eighth place to qualify from the semi-finals, and tenth place to win the entire competition.
– Likes the structure of the show
Morten Thomassen, writer for the Norwegian Eurovision website ESC Norway is pleased with Norway’s review.
– I really like the structure of the show. It starts a little dark and sad, then follows the pyro and full show and builds up to what his story is about: that there is hope in a hanging string and that it will be good in the end, says Thomassen.
Thomassen believes TIX still has to spend time telling his story to the press in order for people to understand his behavior.
– He still has a story to tell, and he is dependent on it being shared.
And it may be that Europe is now both touched and charmed by TIX’s openness. When he met the press after the rehearsals, he had the opportunity to tell them about his background. He also made the audience laugh on several occasions.
When asked by a Georgian reporter what his wildest outfit is in the wardrobe, TIX replied:
– Have you seen what I’m wearing on stage ?!
Shortly after Norway’s reviews, several Eurovision blogs were out with their reactions online.
