The end of a trilogy

In 2012, IO Interactive released the fifth game in the Hitman franchise. This one was called Hitman Absolution. Not everyone was a fan of the game, as it differed from its predecessors in some ways. After this disappointment, IO Interactive managed to get gamers back in the palms of their hands when they released Hitman 1 in episodic form. A game that turned out to be the start of a new trilogy. Because 2 years after the release of Hitman 1, Hitman 2 came in the shops. A game that was received even better than its predecessor. And now in 2021 we have reached the end of the trilogy. Daan has already been able to play two missions of the game and tells JJ in this Preview what his first impression of this game was.

Dozens of different ways to kill

In Hitman you are … a hitman. Logical right? More specifically, you are Agent 47, a clone used to take down targets. And the possibilities to achieve this are endless. Do you run in like a maniac gun blazing Rambo and shoot everyone? Then you can! Do you want to kill your targets more sneaky as a real assassin? Then dressing up in a waiter outfit to put some poison in someone else’s food or drink is also an option. The choices are always yours in Hitman.
