They sound very determined. And all plain language is directed against Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who, according to his colleagues, is violating European values. “If you don’t like it [in de EU], then there is also an alternative: get out of the union”, says our Prime Minister Mark Rutte this Thursday during the European summit in Brussels. His Luxembourg counterpart Xavier Bettel: “A Member State makes laws that stigmatize a sexual minority and link homosexuality and pedophilia – we cannot let that pass.” And Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission: “This Hungarian law is a disgrace.”
