DRAMMEN (VG) The man in his 30s who is accused of having killed five people and injured two in Kongsberg is cooperating with the police, his lawyer informs VG.

– I have talked to my client and we have been questioned, says lawyer Fredrik Neumann to VG at 5 o’clock Thursday night, outside Drammen police station.
– He cooperates with the police and explains in detail about the incident.
Neumann has been appointed as a defender for the man – a Danish citizen in his 30s – who is charged with the incident that shook Kongsberg on Wednesday night, where five people were killed and two injured.
The police were notified of the incident at 18.13, and the first reports were that a man was moving around the city and shot with a bow and arrow.
About half an hour later, at 18.47, the man was arrested.
– How does he relate to the accusation?
– I will not comment or say anything more than what I have said, he cooperates with the police and explains in detail about the incident, Neumann says.
– He is clearly affected by the situation, he adds.
When the defender arrived at 01.50 on Thursday, he did not want to comment on the case to VG.
Shortly afterwards, the lights in the top office at the police station were turned on. About two hours later, they were turned off again, then another hour passed before they came out, and the defender answered questions from the press.
