In 2017, the metoo movement hit Hollywood and the rest of the world hard. Several came forward with allegations of sexual abuse, and they probably did hailed over filmmaker Harvey Weinstein.
Several of Hollywood’s greatest actors have also come up with stories of inappropriate behavior from Weinstein.
Among them is Angelina Jolie (46), who in 2017 claimed that he made sexual advances towards her in her hotel room when she starred in the film “Playing by Heart” in the 90s.

– I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein when I was young, and as a result, I chose to never work with him again and I also warned others when they did, she said then.
– Cheeky lie
Jolie is now out with the book “Know Your Right”, and in that connection she has been interviewed by The Guardian. Among other things, the 46-year-old says that she told her then husband, Jonny Lee Miller (48), about the alleged attack, and that he fully supported her.
However, Jolie claims that her ex-husband Brad Pitt (57) was not as understanding, and that he asked Weinstein to produce his film “Killing Them Softly”.
– We argued about it. Of course it hurt.
Weinstein has now also commented on Jolie’s allegations. He does this from behind the walls, opposite the celebrity website TMZ, through his assistant.
– It is very clear to me that this is to sell more of Angie’s books. It was never an attack, and never an attempted attack. This is a blatant lie and clickbait publicity. You’re Angelina Jolie, all women and men in the world are interested in you, I’m sure. Is the whole world attacking you?
Weinstein is thus behind bars, and will hardly smell the freedom in the near future. As mentioned, he is serving a 23-year prison sentence. This summer, he was also handed over to the Los Angeles authorities.

In California, he is charged with cases of rape and sexual abuse of five women.
The events are said to have taken place between 2004 and 2013 in the city where he made a name for himself. If he is convicted in this court round as well, he must serve time in California when he has finished serving time in New York. In total, he can receive a sentence of 140 years.
Weinstein has consistently denied all allegations, claiming that all sexual interactions have been consensual.
