News Residents of Szymanów gave thanks for the harvest on Saturday in the square behind the fire station. The harvest festival organized by the village council elected this year turned out to be a great success.
As Dominik Zaworski, the village mayor of Szymanów, emphasizes, there were many attractions waiting for all those who came to the harvest festival on August 17. There were inflatables, soap bubbles and entertainment for children, as well as a rich buffet and entertainment with DJ Oskar until dawn.
– We were most worried about the weather, but it was good to us and people took advantage of it – says the village mayor happily.
The mayor of the Rawicz commune, Grzegorz Kubik, and his wife also accepted the invitation to the event.

As Dominik Zaworski emphasizes, members of the village council and some of the village residents were involved in organizing the harvest festival.
– People I can always count on, at any time of day. I’ve already thanked them, but I’ll do it again – he emphasizes.
The “Burszty” association also joined in to help and prepared a stand with coffee, tea and homemade cakes.
The village head admits that this is the first harvest festival organized by him and the village council.
– We will now draw conclusions on what can be improved to make it even better next year, but overall I am happy and I think it was great – he comments.
