PR CIREBON – A new open data nonprofit scientific initiative by Prof. Avi Loeb from Harvard will use a network of telescopes, camera, and computers to analyze astronomical data to scan for evidence of alien life.
The possible existence of aliens is one of the most interesting subjects on the margins of the military and scientific community in recent years.
But now, an innovative scientific initiative is creating a unified telescope network to see if humanity really isn’t alone in the universe to find aliens.
Dubbed the Galileo Project, it was the brainchild of Israeli scientist Prof Avi Loeb from the University’s Department of Astronomy Harvard, spoke about the possible existence of alien life.
While traditional SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) efforts have often focused on finding less intelligent life or detecting radio waves, Loeb has taken a different approach: camera and telescopes.
“The idea is to use a network of telescopes and camera new way to collect data into a computer system so that we can analyze it, find important phenomena and track them,” he explained to The Jerusalem Post as reported by the Jerusalem Post. PikiranRakyat-Cirebon.com.
In 2017, the first discovered interstellar object was observed in our solar system.
