Haruma Miura’s last uploads on Instagram

KOMPAS.com – actor Haruma Miura invites people to watch television dramas that they star in the last message on social media.

The popular Japanese actor was found dead in his apartment in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Saturday (07/18/2020).

On July 10, Miura wrote about a World War II-themed drama which will air on NHK next month.

Reported NHK, he wrote he would be very happy if viewers of all generations were interested in watching it.

On July 14, her last upload, Miura wrote about the drama on another television station that will begin in September 2020.

In his writings he stated that he had worked hard with other actors and drama staff in the hope of entertaining the audience. He asked people to look forward to the show.

Haruma Miura’s agency wrote a statement on their official website, saying the agency was looking for details of the actor’s death which would later be reported.

Quoted from NHK, according to people involved in the investigation, a suicide note was found in the room.

The Metropolitan Police are investigating the details of the situation, assuming that it was a suicide attempt.

Miura, who was supposed to have a schedule today, did not come to the location. His office manager then tried to pick up the actor in his apartment, but he found Miura hanging himself.

The manager then calls 110 (Japan’s emergency number for accident discovery) and Miura is rushed to the hospital. However, his life was beyond help.

In 1997, Haruma Miura made his acting debut as a child in the NHK television series Aguri and appeared in various films and other TV dramas in the following years.

Film Koizora (2007) won him the Japanese Academy Awards for Best New Actor, and film Eien no 0 (2013), also brought him back to win the Japanese Academy Awards as Best Supporting Actor.

Miura is known through a number of films such as Kimi ni Todoke, Koizora, Gintama, dan Attack on Titan. He is also pursuing a career as a solo singer.
