Vaccination against the coronavirus at Luna Park Stadium, one of the centers chosen by the City government in the campaign for adults over 80 years of age and nursing home residents, began this Monday at 8 a.m.
In various videos that circulated on social networks and quickly became viral, they could be seen long lines of older adults who had to wait more than an hour to enter the stadium, located between Bouchard and Lavalle streets and Eduardo Madero and Corrientes avenues, in downtown Buenos Aires.
Meanwhile, in images recorded inside the stadium, a large number of people waited without being able to maintain the necessary social distance to prevent contagion.
In this regard, the Buenos Aires legislator of the FdT Javier Andrade wrote on Twitter: “Our elders waited a long time and with great enthusiasm to be able to get vaccinated, to arrive at Luna Park and receive so much treatment is a provocation.”
