Once inside, the two become more acquainted. Soon the conversation turns to children. Harry has four: three boys and a girl. “Oh, nice”, says Anita. “I have a 28-year-old son and my daughter has passed away. She drowned at 16 months and then I took her out of the water in Stadskanaal. Then she was brought back to life and was in a coma for another nine months.”

“Okay,” Harry says. To continue: “But you are originally from the area of Stadskanaal?” Anita tells that she is from Groningen and Harry replies that that is not a bad thing. “I’m glad she went, otherwise she would have remained a greenhouse plant,” Anita says about her daughter. She has found much comfort in faith.
Harry thinks it’s a plus that she, like him, is religious. He has also been through a lot in his life, but learned to move with it. “My mother just died in January, Covid,” says Anita. Harry offers her condolences and tells her that his mother is still alive.
To marry
While cooking Anita tells that she has fibromyalgia. She also had major surgery on her ears. “These are very serious subjects, I hear that,” says Harry. “But have you seen a potholder by any chance?” Despite Harry’s – not exactly warm – reactions, Anita finds it very cozy with him.
A moment later Harry asks her how she thinks it is going. Anita then wants to say something. “I think it’s one thing that if we get along, we’re going to get married.” This is important to her because of her faith. But Harry doesn’t like it right away.
Long live the love
Night falls, they go to bed. Anita sleeps with a special mask on because of sleep apnea. Harry doesn’t seem to be able to sleep well. The next morning Anita indicates that she would like to continue the stay in the apartment with him. However, Harry doesn’t listen to that.
Anita thinks Harry is a nice and sweet man, but the twitterers think otherwise.
