Dresden.
Harry Potter and the “Chamber of Secrets” can be experienced with live music at the Dresden Philharmonic. In three concerts on April 2nd and 3rd, the orchestra will play the film music by John Williams in the Palace of Culture, while the second part of the Potter saga can be seen on a screen in the hall, the Philharmonic announced on Tuesday. Williams’ music is now considered a classic of film music itself and had also received a Grammy nomination. The concert in Dresden is part of an international series that is expected to include more than 1,400 performances in around 50 countries by the end of this year. Benjamin Pope is the musical director in Dresden. (dpa)
