Kane gave Fallon an insight into life as England captain

The England captain appeared on US TV personality Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ on Thursday night and discussed a wide range of topics, from Tom Brady to being the England captain.

The Spurs star currently has 49 goals for his country, with Wayne Rooney’s record 53 from touch distance.

And when asked by Fallon how he feels ahead of the 2022 World Cup, knowing he’s just four goals away from being England’s top scorer, Kane said: “I’m excited, you know.

“The last World Cup was very special, we got to the semi-final, which was the first semi-final in 30 years as a nation.

“The country was going pretty crazy. But of course we fell short on that step, so I’m looking forward to this one.

“We have a very good team, very good players, a very good coach. We have been building this World Cup very well and I am really looking forward to it.
