Saga transfer Harry Kane just getting longer. This time Kane missed the trip Tottenham Hotspur to the Portuguese club headquarters Pacos de Ferreira.
Kane’s name was actually registered for the playoffs Europa Conference League, Friday (20/8/2021) early morning WIB tomorrow. Tottenham need a win to perpetuate the road in the second leg at home.
So Kane’s energy as a mainstay in the attack line is needed. But, there are those who think this is just a Tottenham ploy to contain Kane’s departure this summer.
Because, Kane’s future is being speculated following his desire to leave for Manchester City this summer. However, club chairman Daniel Levy has always rejected City’s offers.
Finally, City tried to bid 120 million pounds but was flatly rejected by Levy. It is reported that Levy only wants to release Kane for a minimum of 160 million pounds, without any additional players.
City is still working hard to find a solution to this problem. Meanwhile, the season is on and Tottenham have now flown to Portugal to prepare for the first leg of the European Conference League playoffs.
Unfortunately, in the group, there is no Kane. Even though Kane was initially claimed to be ready to be brought in because he had been training since earlier this week.
Kane was indeed given a longer holiday after defending the England national team until the final of Euro 2020. Quoted by the Telegraph, the reason Kane did not participate was not because of his physical condition.
Harry Kane still annoyed with Levy breaking her promise to let her go this summer, when Tottenham Hotspur not qualify for the Champions League.
Kane is said to be prepared for this weekend’s Premier League clash against Wolverhampton 22 August.
