Harry and Meghan visited the United Nations headquarters in New York. There, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke to Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed. “It was a really nice meeting,” Meghan told a Reuters reporter afterwards. The couple visited the headquarters during the annual General Assembly, where outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte was also present.
Mohammed praised the Duke and Duchess for their work and dedication to climate change. In particular, she honored the couple for their commitment to meeting the UN’s climate goals.
