controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 that Duchess Meghan Markle (41) said something that made her half-sister Samantha Markle (58) furious.

She claims it was offensive that Meghan “incorrectly and maliciously” referred to herself as an “only child”, and has sued her sister for defamation.

Meghan has tried to stop the case, but on Tuesday a judge in Florida ruled that she and her husband Prince Harry (38), who also participated in the famous interview, must explain themselves in the case, writes BBC.

Samantha Markle, here from an interview in 2018, is suing her half-sister Meghan for defamation.

Samantha Markle suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS) and uses a wheelchair. She argues that around 50 million people in 17 countries saw the Oprah interview in 2021, and that she was subjected to “humiliation, shame and hatred worldwide” through her little sister’s statements.

In the lawsuit, it is also indicated that Meghan has used “the royal house’s powerful PR apparatus” to spread “lies around the world” about Samantha herself and their common father Thomas Markle. It refers to an allegedly “planned (premeditated, journ.anm) campaign to destroy their reputation and credibility”.

It will not be revealed when the lawsuit is scheduled for.
